In SharePoint Farm you must have the following service applications provisioned and started:
- App Management Service Application
- Application Discovery and Load Balancer Service Application
- Subscription Settings Service Application
- User Profile Service
Also, it is strongly recommended to have one or more app servers available to host the Make for SharePoint app. These servers are not part of the SharePoint farm, but are regular Windows servers with the IIS web server role installed. A Server-to-server (S2S) trust must be present between this App server and the SharePoint farm.
