Make Release 6.6

Make 6.6 is available in the Make Community

In the Make Community Make 6.6 is available for installation on your tenant (see the files section). As always support is standing by if you need any help with the installation. This message will describe the enhancements introduced in Make 6.6. You can always revert to the changelog located on our new documentation site.

What’s new?
  • Implemented PnP.Framework 1.12
  • Implemented Microsoft.SharePointOnline.CSOM 16.1.23508.12000
  • Removed licensing components
  • Updated Make UI for SharePoint On Premises to Rapid Circle design
  • Updated documentation (design, content and new URL location)
  • Bugfix trailing slash in URL when requesting a subsite
  • Bugfix OverwriteIfExists setting with playlist retry option

We have temporarily disabled the ‘MultiLanguage resources’ export scope for PnP configuration export due to an ongoing issue raised with PnP Framework. ‘All’ export scope will produce a template excluding the multi language resources scope. To export a PnP template with this scope you could use this PnP PowerShell cmdlet: https://pnp.github.io/powershell/cmdlets/Get-PnPProvisioningTemplate.html#example-9

Licensing

Make is moving away from being a product to be a project accelarator where licensing is not required anymore. In this release we have removed all the license components.

Documentation

We have moved the documention to the new location https://docs.rapidcircle.com/make/ and restyled it to the Rapid Circle design. We also moved the entity samples and references from the community team to the documentation site.
