Make uses a SharePoint Online site collection to store information, such as configurations and requests. This site collection is either created manually or during the installation process. When created during the installation process, the site collection is a Team site (not Group connected). It is not required to have such a Team site, so when creating it manually it can be of any template.
Any user of Make needs to have access to this site collection for managing the configurations and request queue. Permissions can either be given via the Site Owners or Members group.
